READ CAREFULLY. THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT. BY ACCESSING THIS SITE, JOINING DOMESTIQUE, OR PARTICIPATING IN ANY DOMESTIQUE ACTIVITY, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS.

In consideration of being permitted to join Domestique Cycling Club (“Domestique”) and participate in its rides, events, and all related activities (“Activities”), I, the undersigned (“Participant”), agree as follows:

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I acknowledge that cycling is an inherently dangerous activity. I understand and accept that participation in group rides and club activities involves risks, including but not limited to: collisions, road hazards, high-speed descents, mechanical failures, weather, injury, death, and the actions of other participants, drivers, or third parties. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for all risks, whether known or unknown.

2. WAIVER AND RELEASE
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I waive, release, and discharge Domestique, its directors, officers, volunteers, ride leaders, agents, sponsors, and partners (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims or liability for injury, death, or damages arising from my participation in club activities, regardless of cause, including negligence.

3. INDEMNIFICATION
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of my participation in any club activities or violation of this agreement.

4. MEDICAL FITNESS AND EQUIPMENT
I affirm that I am physically capable of cycling and assume full responsibility for my personal health and safety. I will ride a mechanically sound bicycle, wear a helmet, and comply with all applicable traffic laws and safety guidelines.

5. PHOTO RELEASE
I grant Domestique permission to use photographs or videos of me taken during club rides or events for promotional or educational purposes, without compensation.

6. INSURANCE
I understand that Domestique provides supplemental accident insurance for its members, but this may not cover all injuries or expenses. I am responsible for any additional insurance coverage I wish to carry.

7. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. If any part of this agreement is deemed unenforceable, the remainder remains in full effect.

By continuing with membership registration and participating in any Domestique activity, I affirm that I am at least 18 years old and voluntarily agree to the terms of this waiver.
