Weekly Rides

We don’t just ride together. We show up for each other. Our weekly rides are designed for every pace and every rider who puts the group first.

All Domestique rides are open to the community through July. Starting in August, rides will be reserved for active, paying members.

How we ride

We ride for connection, not competition. Domestique was built on the belief that the best miles are the ones we share.

Our ride culture is grounded in effort, empathy, and mutual respect. We wait at the top. We call things out. We ride smart and safe, with leaders and sweeps who make sure no one gets left behind.

Every rider shows up for the group because that’s how the group shows up for you.

Ride Etiquette

  • Respect riders, drivers, and the road

  • Ride the right pace; A is tempo, B is social

  • Call out hazards and use hand signals

  • No half-wheeling or passing on the right

  • Support the sweep; effort earns support

  • No TT bikes on group rides

Golden Hour

Golden Hour is our standing Tuesday evening spin. A no-drop ride built for connection, light climbs, and sunset pacing. We roll from SVO, take on Amalfi and pause for the view atop Alta Mura before taking Sunset to climb Homewood & Oakmont. We descend San Vicente and cross Ocean with sunset ocean views to finish on Rose in Venice. Optional post-ride hang, destination decided on the ride.

This ride is beginner-welcoming but not beginner-paced. We’ll ride predictably, stay tight, and regroup as needed. Come for the effort, stay for the light.

Gravel Wednesday

DCC members love gravel, too! This midweek dirt loop takes us through Brentwood and up Amalfi to Capri before climbing Sullivan Ridge and looping back via Westridge and Mandeville. Expect a steady pace and a mix of road and dirt, with views worth the early start. We stop for water at San Vicente Mountain Park, descend together, and prioritize safe, connected riding. The ride ends back in Santa Monica with coffee and conversation at goodboybob.

The Coffee Ride

We depart goodboybob and ride across Santa Monica, climbing Amalfi, followed by a run down Sunset and into the Mandy climb. There’s an optional Westridge and Chalon add-on before we regroup at the top for a photo, then descend together and return for coffee at goodboybob.

Easy rollout, regroups at the tops of Sunset and Mandy, and effort on the climb. Ride leaders and sweep support ensure a no-drop, no-drama experience. Post-ride coffee is encouraged.

This is how we do Thursdays.

All Club A/B

Our flagship weekly ride brings the full club together, then splits into two groups based on pace. The A group rides at a faster tempo with more elevation, while the B group maintains a steady, social pace. Both groups follow the same or similar routes and regroup post-ride.

Details like route, distance, elevation, leaders, and start location vary each week. We post all info via Strava events in the club Whatsapp Announcements channel and in the Saturday All Club ride WhatsApp chat group.

No matter the pace, this ride is about showing up, pushing each other, and moving forward together.

The Women’s Ride

The ride where Domestique began.

Every Sunday, we roll easy. Short, flat, and recovery-paced with alternating routes through Santa Monica, Venice, and the South Bay. Open to all women and femme-identifying riders, this ride is built for connection, conversation, and movement together. We finish with coffee at goodboybob, either in Santa Monica or Manhattan Beach, depending on the route. No drops, no rush, just good company and time in the saddle.
